The Men's Club is sponsoring a fundraiser to assist with Temple restoration expenses.
In honor of Temple B’nai Sholem and the generations of families who are and have been part of our Temple community, we are excited to announce the creation of our new Commemorative Walkway -- the site where each of us has the opportunity to dedicate personalized, customized bricks that will forever adorn our Temple property. The Commemorative Walkway is designed to upgrade and beautify the entrance to our synagogue. The location is prominent at the main entrance to the building and is traversed continually throughout the year.
As our Temple community proudly celebrates the beginning of our second century, we invite you to participate in this project that will honor each of us and our families and support our restoration program. The Commemorative Walkway will symbolize the meaning that Temple B’nai Sholem has in our lives by honoring loved ones and commemorating cherished moments. These memories can be shared whenever you and your family visit the synagogue.
Planning your family's brick (or bricks!) is easy and fun. Be creative as you reflect on the scores of ideas and milestones that can be preserved in our brick walkway. As you do so, remember that you will also help preserve the future of Temple B’nai Sholem, so that your brick and its warm message will live on for generations to come! Commemorative inscribed bricks for placement in the new front walk are available for purchase at $50 per brick through December12, 2010. Please see the attached order form for complete instructions. The bricks will be placed when the new walk is completed in January, 2011.
The brick program is designed to be affordable and accessible. Bricks can make the perfect gift! Give yourself and your family the gift of imprinting a place we love with visual reminders that reflect the large and the small events of our daily lives.
